Take the Corporate Challenge

Pedal the Cause invites St. Louis businesses to take the Pedal the Cause Corporate Challenge and help raise funds to support cancer research in our community. 100% of every donation STAYS in St. Louis to go directly to fund cancer research at the Siteman Cancer Center and St. Louis Children's Hospital.

3 Components of the Corporate Challenge

Team Building

Employees have the chance to work with one another on fundraising and training activities, which develops similar teamwork skills as a retreat. PTC builds company moral and employee satisfaction.

Employee Wellness

Employee wellness programs like PTC promote better productivity at work, happier staff, and combat escalating health care costs. Through numerous training rides leading up to the event, employees can get in great physical shape.

Community Service

Riders and volunteers on our corporate teams help carry out the mission of Pedal the Cause which is to put an end to cancer by raising money to fund life-saving cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and St. Louis Children's Hospital.

Ways to Support Your Company's Team

Corporate Matching

Corporate matching programs motivate employee fundraising. Matching donations are tax-deductible and 100% goes toward cancer research.

Team Engagement

Encourage participation in PTC training rides and fundraising events. Host team recruitment days at your cafeteria.

Volunteerism

Promote an environment of giving-back at your company by recruiting employees to join the 500+ army of dedicated volunteers.

Incentives

Teams of 20 and more will receive the following incentives:

  • Banner with company logo to be displayed at the Start/Finish line in Ride Village
  • Signs with company logos displayed along the course
  • PTC-branded team photo
  • Personalized on-site PTC Days including Rider Packet Pickup

What if employees aren't interested in riding? How can they participate?

Volunteering is a great way to engage both large and small groups of employee volunteers. We are anticipating that we will need over 500+ volunteers over the two day weekend. There is no fundraising requirement for volunteers.
