Stage 4 Neuroblastoma

We received his diagnosis in October 2011, after a month and a half of doctor visits trying to figure out why he had fever and pain that wouldn't go away. Needless to say, our family was devastated. Our friends, schools, and community have pulled together to support us from the very beginning. We started treatment immediately. Bastian has completed 6 cycles of chemotherapy, 4 bone marrow biopsies, 1 stem cell harvest, and a successful surgery that removed the largest tumor just this week (3/6/12). Coming up is his bone marrow transplant, and we will see where things stand after that.
