Donate to my ride

Im riding because I can! I guess I fall into the category of "survivor" because I was diagnosed with cancer on my voice box in February and was pronounced clear in July. Treatment included 37 CT Scans, 2 PET scans, 3 chemo treatments with 2 very harsh chemicals in each one, and 35 radiation treatments in the neck area! I know that God has healed me and I will tell anyone who will listen the story.

I also ride for those who cannot. The ones still fighting. The ones too weak from treatment to ride. The ones who have lost the fight. AND the ones who are just too weak to fight anymore. I was fortunate in that I was strong and in pretty good shape, and though left weak, I still had strength to fight strong, and am coming back. THIS is what it is all about. Standing up for the ones who cant stand for themselves.

I am joining the fight against cancer by participating in the third-annual Pedal the Cause bike challenge. Pedal the Cause has the mission to provide funding for cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and St. Louis Children's Hospital through their annual cycling challenge in hopes that the research funded by their event will ultimately lead to a cure for cancer.

Please help me in this journey to find a cure by donating to my ride. I have committed to raise $500 for cancer research and 100% of your donation will go to directly to this cause.
