Donate to my ride

I am joining the fight against cancer by participating in the third annual Pedal- the-Cause bike challenge. The mission of Pedal-the-Cause is to provide funding for cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and St. Louis Children's Hospital through their annual cycling challenge in hopes that the research funded by their event will ultimately lead to a cure for cancer.

While i'm not always comfortable asking for funds, please know that i'm committed to this concept with or without collecting from my friends, so i ask you not feel obligated to donate to my ride. Your friendship means everything to me and i know you support me in ALL of my efforts. I remain so grateful!!! I have agreed, though, TO RAISE $250. for cancer research and i think you should know that 100% of your donation will go to directly to this cause. AND - The money STAYS IN ST. LOUIS!

I plan to ride 25 miles on October 7th, both in honor of the founder, bill koman, and, in memory of my mother, joan, who lost her fight against the disease much too early. Lung cancer took her life at the age of 42! This ride represents my tiny effort to advance research and find a cure.
